A woman was prevented from committing suicide in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon, reports said.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a woman was spotted by sopore police attempting to jump into the river Jhelum at Jamia bridge Sopore.
“Following this, the police rushed towards her and foiled suicide attempt,” reports added.

Meanwhile an official told ANH that the woman will be handed over to her family after proper counselling.
