Fire brought under control, confined to involved property only: DFO F&ES
Srinagar, Aug 12: A portion of Hollywood cafe’s top floor was damaged in a fire that broke out on Friday afternoon in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar.

Reports reaching the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the fire broke out from 1st floor of Hollywood restaurant and immediately the fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames.
Divisional Fire officer, Tasaduq Husain, told KNO that at around 12:25 PM, information was received about the fire incident at Lal Chowk.

Immediately different stations and headquarters were called and the fire fighting operation was started, he said, adding that the fire was confined and controlled to the involved property only.
“There might be some ignition system, which has led to the fire incident. However, the exact cause of fire has not been ascertained yet,” he said, adding that some portion of first floor got damaged only.
