Srinagar, May 12 (ANH): Anantnag Police has identified the persons involved in stone pelting incident in Janglat Mandi area on eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, arrests three accused.

In a statement issued here, a police spokesman said that three persons including two minors have been arrested and sent to Juvenile home of Srinagar.
While as one accused namely Zahid Ahmed Guroo son of Abdul Rashid resident of Danter Anantnag is on police remand.
The other two accused identified as Fazil Khursheed son of Khursheed Bhat resident of Dabruna and Majid Ahmed Pushoo son of Ashiq Hussain resident of Deva Colony are yet to be arrested.
Police has launched a manhunt to nab the accused youth, the spokesman said.

Pertinently a stone pelting incident on security forces had happened on Eid and to facilitate the prayers and keeping in view the safety of common people Police had not retaliated that time.
Police had already registered a case under FIR no.135/PS Anantnag in this regard.
