JEE Mains- 2021 to be held in 13 languages including Urdu

Srinagar, Dec 24:  Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Mains is being held in 13 Languages including Urdu Language for the next session (2021).

As per  the exam conducting authority, National Testing agency the JEE mains 2021 would be held in 13 languages including Hindi, English  Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu & Urdu as per the New Education Policy of India .

The NAT has also released the examination schedule according to which the Session-I exam would be held from February 23 to Feb 26, 2021, the Session-II from March 15 to March 18, 2021, Session-III from April 27 to April 30, 2021 and Session-IV from May 24 to May 28, 2021.

10 held for trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere outside Jama Masjid after Friday prayers: Police

Srinagar police on Saturday said that they have arrested ten persons for trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere outside Jama Masjid in Nowhatta after Friday prayers.

They said that they will be booked under relevant sections of law.

Srinagar police on X informed, “10 Hooligans arrested for trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere outside Jamia Masjid Yesterday after friday prayers. They shall be booked under relevant section of law. Public is requested not to indulge in such acts failing which law will take its own course.”

Mason falls from rooftop of house in Bijbehera, dies

A mason died after he fell down from a rooftop of a house in Zirpora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

An official told that Nazir Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Salam Ganai of Zirpora was doing some work on the roof of the house when he slipped and fell down.

He said that he was immediately rushed to SDH Bijbehara, where he succumbed to injuries. KNO

Biker killed in Anantnag road accident

A biker has died in a road mishap in Ranipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday morning.

An official told that a motorcyclist, identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Kuchay, lost control of his bike and skidded off the road, resulting in his death.
